You know the same old rule: if something is successful then make the most out of it and create as many things similar to it to get money.
They do this with movies, clothes and makeup. To be honest who can blame them? Companies just wanna please their customers and the audience.

Urban Decay came up with the Naked palette and the world was sucked into this new thing which were the "neutral" palettes. 12 neutral shades, mainly shimmers, some mattes. Simple yet very powerful which made them great selling products since EVERYONE can rock neutral colours. Great colour choice, great pigmentation and great price - if compared to companies like MAC that give you ONE eyeshadow for more than £10.

Here we are, a couple of years later - if even so - with the Naked 3!
Damn, does time run fast.

When they announced the Naked 3 I was still saving up for the Naked 2 (and still am now that I got number 3...) but I did ask myself HOW MANY NEUTRAL COLOURS CAN YOU COME UP WITH?!

Well, ladies and gents, as I see now, an infinity.
It all comes down to what tonality you go for and which colour.

Here are some photos:

As you can see the colours are very pink-based. Still very wearable and still very easy for both fair to deep skin tones to come up with a million looks to create.

Here are the shades up close!

The "right" side.. with the DARKER shades.

The "left" side...with the LIGHTER shades.

And here are the swatches:

( Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick)

(Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, Blackheart)

Favourite Shades: Nooner, Liar, Mugshot.

Least Favourite Shade: Dust (the reason is that it's quite hard to work with sometimes, very glittery and chalky but if mixed with Trick then it works better)

*Note - this palette was photographed with flash.

I did a review/first impressions of this palette a few weeks ago when i just got it so if you wanna check it out on YouTube here's the link :)

( I definitely need to work on making less awkward faces when filming...)

So far I created a couples of cool looks with this palette and one of them is on YouTube! It's an "everyday" completely MATTE eyeshadow look that anyone can wear so if you wanna check that out click HERE

Final Scores:

Product: 9.5/10
Pigmentation: 9/10
Longevity:9/10 (USE EYESHADOW PRIMER!)
Application: 8/10

Should you purchase it?

YES - If you like neutrals, if you wanna have the best eyeshadow pigmentation of a higher- end brand but save some money and most importantly if you are an eyeshadow person!

It is NOT an ESSENTIAL however for makeup collectors it's a nice feeling to own the whole naked collection.

That's all for the NAKED 3!
Stay tuned to see more tutorials coming up and let me know what you think of this palette.

Do you like it?
Do you own it?
Will you buy it?
