I hope you all had a lovely weekend and didn't ruin your liver too much.
Today's post is on a beauty item that should really be a staple in your everyday makeup look: mascara!
We all want it, we all need it but we just can't seem to find the right one most of the time. My quest in the mascara world started years ago and I yet have to find "the one".
Something that has always impressed me though, is that you really don't need to go and spend £25 at a high-end beauty counter when can simply walk into Superdrug and you'll leave just as satisfied.
Rimmel is probably my favourite affordable brand. From amazing lipsticks to creamy concealers you could pretty much recreate a whole look just by using everything from this company.
The product that I want you to check out is my very recent purchase: the Rockin Curves mascara - from the Scandal Eyes collection.
I did a "first impressions" video on my channel and as promised, I decided to use it every day and then after at least a week, give it a final review. This way it is guaranteed that it's something I truly like (or dislike).
If you haven't checked out the video then the link is down below. You can find extra bits of info such as packaging, price and what not.
Its new broken heart-shaped brush creates big, curvy, rockin' lashes. This cleverly-shaped applicator twists and curves to hug the lash line- the thin tip grabs hard-to-reach inner lashes, while the amplified base pulses lashes with incredible volume and curve.
Lashes are plumped and lifted in one clean stroke.
Thin brush tip
Grabs hard to reach lashes.
Amplified base of brush
Dramatic Volume and Curve.
As much as the brush can seem quite big at first, once you get the way to use it you'll see that this mascara really ROCKS! The tip of the brush really grabs the inner lashes and opens up the eye. In case you get a little clumpy look at the ends, you can use the tip once again to remove the extra mascara with one swipe and really maximise the length and volume.
I received so many compliments on my lashes since I started using this and that means only one thing: it's really good! It does make a difference to your everyday look.
It also does not smudge and it's easy to remove at the end of the day. (I use a Nivea eye makeup remover)
