SPRING/SUMMER NAILS - KIKO CUPCAKE Nail Polish

We could say spring is finally in UK even though I still wear my long jacket and take an umbrella whenever I leave the house because...well, it is England
I am almost done with Uni and I can almost smell the freedom of having no more deadlines till the start of the new semester. I think seeing the sun more and the flowers blossom around really puts me in a good mood and I have finally started rocking some nail polish again. I had to take a break for a few weeks because my nails were in a state... but now they're slowly getting back to normal.

As some of you may know if you're following me on YouTube, my mum went to Italy a few weeks ago and brought back a nice bag of Kiko goodies for me and I have been testing them all out like a kid with the new toys. Today I decided to review these nail polishes for you because they're really worth a look!

Shade 653 ♡It has blue, orange and muted yellow grains

Shade 651 ♡ It has small light blue and red grains

Shade 655 ♡ It has light blue and orange grains

These nail polishes have great lasting power on my nail and if you have an uneven/odd surface that doesn't make your polish look all glossy (unless you use a topcoat) then these babes are for you! As you may have noticed from the photos - these varnishes are TEXTURED. I must admit, it still feels strange to me when I touch my nails and they're so...rough

To give you a better idea - we could say you nails feel like they have sand imprinted on them?

It may not sound appealing but in person they look so unique and interesting. My friends have asked me many times what nail polish I'm wearing because they loved it so much! That MUST be a good sign surely?!

The application is so easy and opaque so even if you just had time to apply one coat, you could get away with it. The wand is really nice and once the final product is completely dried out you'll love it. It actually changes a little through the day until the grains really become more visible and the base colour stands out more.

Overall I score this product a 9.5/10 because it's a stand-out piece in my summer beauty look.  I think if you're a nail kinda girl you should give it a shot. They're currently on sale for only £3.50 so hurry! You can find them by clicking HERE . You'll definitely make a statement this summer ;)

Oh if you missed what else I got from the Kiko Haul then here's the link:

Let me know if you want to see a specific product reviewed soon!

  16. Textured nail polish always looks so interesting to me, but I'm not sure how I would like how it feels. I think it would annoy me! But it looks so pretty. :)
