I'm not a good nail polish kinda girl. You will find me with chipped nails most of the time because I tend to be quite forgetful and lazy to change up the shade. It's kinda lame for someone that loves beauty and has a blog but there is no point in lying. My mum always gets pissed off when she sees the horrific look on my hands but I can't be the only one! There should be a club for people that aren't that committed to changing nail colour as soon as it starts looking chipped.
Anyway, I was in Primark the other day and decided to have a look at the beauty section that always gets ignored for some reason. I came across these P.S nail polishes and was quite pleased with the shades. There aren't many but the selection was nice. This specific sky blue looked rather unique and I was 100% sure I didn't have a similar one in my collection.
The packaging is of a rectangular shape and it's simple. The cap is black and the actual bottle is made of glass and it's transparent. The brush is quite big so it basically distributes the product all over my nail with one stroke. The actual wand picks up loads of product so you gotta be careful to not overload too much or it could get messy. I was really pleasantly surprised because it's VERY opaque and you only need one coat. May I just add that it dries super quickly which means it's perfect for days when you're running late but still have the dedication to put nail polish on anyway.
I really like this polish and I think it's perfect for this time of the year when we can all get away with wearing crazy lipsticks and neon clothes if we want to. For only £1 you really can't go wrong. Mine didn't chip for 3 days so I think it's good considering I am pretty active and not very careful with my nails.
Very affordable (£1)
Appears quite glossy without any top coat needed
Lots of product is packed on the applicator so it can be
tricky to work with sometimes
Have you ever tried this brand?
I think next time you're looking for some cool nail varnish you should check out P.S Nail Polish. I believe it's only available in Primark.
ps- if you're wondering what the name of the shade is - I have no clue. It doesn't say anything on the pack!
