Hello there beautiful people!
I am only a few days away from flying to the warm shores of Florida and enjoying a nice 2-weeks-summer vacation with my mum. No time to fangirl though because it's "sit and think" time. In case you're wondering what the hell I'm on about: it's that specific moment in time when a beauty junkie sits down and starts creating a list of makeup to purchase whilst in America - the land of unicorns and Sephora.
Some of you may be rolling your eyes by now thinking "dayyym girls get it together" but I can't. I just...can't. I am SO EXCITED that I am sure I'm forgetting some cool stuff so I'm gonna need YOU to suggest me a few more awesome things to check out. This is the top picks for one store only but keep in mind I will be visiting Ulta and other hot spots too.
I decided this wishlist would be something a little different because I wanna give you - and myself - a specific reason WHY I want to spend money on these items since they are indeed pretty pricey.
1 - I can keep clear track of how many things I have in mind.
2 - I can read what you think about my picks and see if a product is not worth the hype or if you have something better in mind!
3 - I will be able to stop myself from going into a vortex of "feeling spendy" and hitting my bank account too hard.
So here we go!
Guerlain Lipsticks look like the most luxurious item a girl can carry in her purse. This would be something you see on Gossip Girl or Sex and The City. The finish is satin and it doesn't dry out your lips plus the pigmentation seems to be ah-maaaazing according to all the reviews I read. I don't own any high-end makeup so I am a little torn between Tom Ford and this brand. What do you think?
Does this even need an introduction?
It's continuously sold out everywhere and I can't see a bad review. I have been using the N7 pressed powder in Dark to contour for ages and that's the only thing I own for this specific makeup purpose. I wanna change it up a little and try something different so I think this kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills would be a nice investment!
Oh Tarte! From the packaging to the pigmentation to the continuous mentions on every other beauty blog and channel... you will be mine! I don't own many blushes (only 3) so if you could suggest any shade I would be really grateful.
I may be a brush-obsessed-girl. I always want to try some new ones and this Sephora PRO Air Brush in number 55 has been receiving lots of compliments from a number of beauty bloggers I love so it won a special spot in my must-have items. It's supposed to be good for both powders and liquid foundations.
I have never heard of Bite Beauty Cosmetics before but since the beginning of the year many people keep mentioning this brand so I thought I would give them a try. They have different types of lip products - from the "Luminous Creme Lipsticks" to a whole set of lipglosses! I will have to decide once I'm face to face with them but if you have a suggestion let me know!
I don't even want to work out how much just these 5 picks would cost me.
Have you tried any of them? What other products would you say I have to check out?
Don't be shy and leave suggestions! :)
While I'm away I will be updating my fashion and lifestyle sections since my camera and my laptop will come with me. I thought it would be nice to show you around Orlando, Hogwarts, Miami and more!
I hope you're having a lovely week so far!
