This past month has been a dangerous one for my bank account because of all the gorgeous palettes Anastasia Beverly Hills has been releasing. She teamed up with the most beautiful and talented makeup artists (Amrezy, Maya Mia and Tamanna - who you probably know about if you're into makeup and you're addicted to instagram) and created a palette with each one of them inspired by their style, taste and favourite colours.
Of course, being a palette addict and having a minor hoarding problem when it comes to makeup I "HAD to have" all three. Today I decided to review the latest one that I managed to get only a day after the release here in UK through Cult Beauty. They're all limited edition by the way, so if you like what you see then don't waste any time and get your hands on it as soon as possible because it WILL sell out just like the other two.
I will only be focusing on this palette now but do let me know if you want to see the other two and if you want a comparison with all of them since they all came out in the space of a few weeks!
Now onto the review..
The packaging is hard cardboard and it has a magnetic closure. It feels light yet sturdy. The actual design was up to the artist and this middle eastern/indian sort of print is very much what I expected from Tamanna given her background and the fact that with this platte she wants to represent herself and her taste.

SANGRIA; BENGAL ; CHOCOLATE ; CHINA ROSE ; NOIR
First thing, as with all the palettes from Anastasia Beverly Hills, the shades are super pigmented! What I also like is that the shimmery shades are not glittery/chunky. The actual shimmer can be intense especially if used wet and it does not only looks good but it's also long lasting.
The eyeshadows are very creamy and super easy to blend, even the darkest colours, I can promise you that. I did my makeup in a hurry and literally slapped on a couple of colours on my lid and in 60 seconds I was off the door looking good. At least I'd like to think so since a girl in Zara complimented my eye makeup that day!
- also, I'm a blending freak -
My current favourite picks are Fresh, Gilded, Custom and Sangria but all of the shades are amazing. Sangria especially is the one I'll be using a lot this autumn/winter.
This is a palette I would consider to be complete - it has pops of colour, transition shades, neutral everyday shades, a black and a perfect matte brow-bone highlight. You know what that means? I'm basically set for any occasion if I want to take it with me on holiday. It does also come with a brush which actually isn't too bad at all and can be used and washed.
BONUS! The palette comes with 5 cards telling you how to achieve different looks because
not everyone knows how to combine certain shades. I personally think it's brilliant!
VARIETY OF COLOURS
GOOD FOR ANY OCCASION
So what are your thoughts on it? Would you like to have it on your collection?
