I hope you're all had a great week! I'm finally on holiday! Well, if that's how you call having to write 2 essays, edit 2 photoshoots and write a work log in your free time.... Uni life is a struggle for real however I can't complain about having every morning off for a nice sleep-in.
I have been paying more attention and thought to my haircare routine lately since my current brunette Rapunzel hairstyle has been getting longer and longer - it needs a small trim soon - but when it gets to your elbows you really need to look after it to maintain shine, volume and most importantly HELTH.
For reference; my hair-type is: rather dry but greasy scalp can happen especially with winter when everything is more extreme. I knew I needed something good, something that would work and do the job aka smelling great, leaving hair looking super silky and not weighing it all down. The Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Milk (fancy name, isn't it) seems to have ticked all my boxes hence I wanted to share my own views with you after reading mixed experiences on the web.
The whole thing comes in a great-looking packaging however the way it distributes on your head is odd. The packaging is probably the worst thing when it comes to usage and I have to point it out since it's a little confusing. The product is way too thick to come out from a spray-bottle. I tend to apply it to my hand first and then spread it evenly in my hair afterwards. This is the only negative thing, which for me isn't even a big deal.
The product itself is divine. The biggest YES for me is the fact that you only need a little to work throughout the hair - very important when you're spending a little more money ($30) on an extra luxury. Secondly, it leaves hair soft once your head is all dry. I usually use mine right after the shower to help out when it comes to conditioning, detangling and getting rid of awful frizz (my nightmare). I definitely noticed this making my hair stronger, especially the ends since I haven't found any split ends yet. Like I mentioned before, I can get greasy hair but this product doesn't cause any of that either; it's like it balances out everything. Another way I have been using this is as an overnight tratment once a month which conditions my hair to the max! Last thing worth mentioning is that itParabens, Sulfates, Phthalates and is free of DEA, TEA, gluten, mineral oil, petrolatum, PABA, and paraffin. I can't recoomend this eniugh for all people that colour-treat their hair or style it or just have dry ends and want a more sleek, nourished look.
