I hope you had a great weekend!
I have been challenged by Yardley London to outdo the one and only - Twiggy. Let's just admit immediately that I know I look nothing like her and that whatever worked on her makeup-wise will definitely not work for me since we have completely different complexions HOWEVER I must admit this was well fun. Also, I couldn't really pass the opportunity to review the newest fragrance called JADE which won the Pure Beauty Awards 2014.
The packaging is pretty simple - round glass with a metallic top, and as you can spot from the photo above, see-through. I know some people prefer their perfumes to have something different but I'm more the type that is just majorly fussy with scents. A pretty bottle ain't gonna make me smell nice necessarily. This perfume though definitely surprised me. To my shock, my mum, my friend and I absolutely LOVE this little gem. I say SHOCK because the three of us never agree on scents...ever. This one is fresh and I can sense some jasmine, peach and moss. I would say this is suitable for even older women, it's not an "immature" scent; not overly sweet or strong. Definitely one to consider for a possible christmas present if you're still searching! It's currently on a lower special price of only £13.33!
The rest of the box that was given to me contained a Collection Pen Liner, fake lashes, a hairband and a lovely DVD of Breakfast at Tiffany's. I was so chuffed! I spent a bit doing some light research to find what kind of 60s look I wanted to go for and a natural Bridget Bardot seemed to be the one for me.
As for the challenge...
No, I can't outdo twiggy. *cries*
