Skincare on a budget : MONTAGNE JEUNESSE FACE MASKS

Hello lovelies!
I hope you're all doing great! I have a week off university because my class is going to New York and I couldn't afford the trip since I blew all my money on a VIP ticket to meet Lady Gaga a few months ago as you would have seen in my first post of 2015! No regrets though, she was worth it.

Today I wanted to feature some face-masks I have been using FOREVER! And I mean it. I have been a fan of face masks for years now, practically since I moved to UK. I usually choose one or two evenings a week to pamper myself and nourish my skin because I deserve it. As much as I would love to be able to afford super expensive ones I end up gravitating time and time again to the Montagne Jeunesse ones because whenever I spent a little more than £1 or £2 I was always disappointed. These gems are only 1 quid each and can be found everywhere around the UK! I pick them up whenever I'm shopping in my local ASDA or Wilkinsons. I thought I tried all the different types until I was approached to review these three.

This is a fantastic mask you use after your daily cleanse. It is made with Acai Berry and Avocado which help to unclog your pores. It is suitable for all types of skin - mine is combination and dehydrated (how charming, I know). I found this mask to leave my face feeling super soft and ..clean. I know it's an odd word to use to describe it but for some reason it was like getting a detox. My pores looked significantly reduced.

My oh my, I always avoid getting face products that smell of coconut because I would always end up licking my face (well, just part of it) to taste the deliciousness of a cream - which ends up being disgusting. Obviously I had to torture myself and try this gem and it smelled amazing but also left my skin feeling super hydrated and smooth in under 10 minutes! This product would be great for people with dry or mature skin that need that extra hydration and boost. I loved it.

Okay now imagine the post-deepest skin cleanse feeling you get when you leave a beauty salon and it's like your skin is reborn from the ashes. That was what I felt when I was done using this mask. The exfoliating bamboo removed dead cells and the chopped ginger and volcanic spring powder opened up the pores to deep cleanse. This mask gets warm and it really does make a difference. I also found it cool how it was a "hot" mask, not a regular one, it felt more luxurious and fun for some reason. I highly recommend this for all the oily and combo gals out there!

I can't say that I'm surprised, I always loved this brand. I know some may skip on these masks because they're very affordable and therefore make people believe the quality isn't there, but I never had a negative experience with these products -In fact, my draws are full of Montagne Jeunesse masks again.

XOXO

  23. Wonderful article!! I want more helpful article from you. Clear and beautiful skin is one of the main elements of a person's beauty in this summer. I keep my skin hydrated all year long with Sakare products. I would like to recommend these for all.

  24. The are comical. If you are like me I am all about finding stuff that is natural. Those look like they combine nature with not so natural stuff. Fabric, used in a seemingly natural product is something you do see once in awhile. I guess becoming someone who sticks to using natural things needs to be a bit more blatant.
