"I can't stop. I won't stop.
Okay I better stop cause it's making me dizzy. "
(Kristina - 1993- still going)
There isn't a day where I don't wish I had that effortless Serena Vanderwoodsen thing going. Even when she was a drunk mess she still looked great. How. HOW?! I have to bring myself back to reality every morning and realise that if I want to look Gossip-Girl worthy then I have to sit down and work for it. Last year I attended the Bloggers Festival and whilst strolling around looking at the gorgeous brands I came across Cloud Nine. They had a stand where you could get your hair done for free so I immediately jumped on the opportunity and in 10 minutes the hairdresser made my hair-do go from a 7 to a 10. (interesting fact - that's when I took the selfie you see on the top right of my blog)
I literally fell in love with the brand. Afterwords I did work with them on a post featuring their awesome Duet Set. By then I pretty much realised Cloud Nine is freaking AWESOME; You can really tell their products are high quality and made for people with high standards.
I was super chuffed when I received the Waving Wand* as you can expect and I couldn't wait to feature it on here so you all know about this little gem. The wand is long and straight featuring an innovative temperature control allowing flexibility when styling. It also comes with a mat and gloves for protection.
I think it's really simple to use - and this is coming from a person who can't be bothered with complicated hair styles and doesn't want to spend all morning trying to get all her hair in place. I am pretty much a 'do it in less than 10 minutes' kind of chick. I shared this wand with my mother and she prefers to use it as a proper curling wand making gorgeous locks. I appreciate more the second-day-curls style where I could almost say "I woke up like this".
I think this wand is perfect for girls who want to achieve either the perfect Kradashian-esque waves or the messy do's that still look fabulous. I would definitely recommend this brand for any hair styling tool you need if you or a friend were on the market for one. You get what you pay for as they say, so you know you're investing in a piece that will stay with you for a very long time.
Have you ever tried anything from Cloud Nine?
