Let's start by saying that this girl doesn't drink energy drinks. I never have and never will. As much as I'd like to say it's because I'm TOTALLY and EXCLUSIVELY only into healthy things, the main reason has always been the taste. Fizzy and sugary stuff just ain't my cup of tea, end of. So.. what do I drink to get some energy?
As part of my fitness posts I have this mini-task to find some new interesting things for you all to try and enjoy - be it a simple shake, a new snack or hey, even a workout routine, cause let's face it - some of this stuff doesn't just pop up unless you're looking.
Everything But The Cow is a new discovery for me. Maybe some of you already know about this company but I just found out about it a few weeks ago and what can I say, I fell in love. These are natural fruit-packed protein drinks that are great for a pre-workout boost of energy or a post-workout recovery ( and boy, don't I need both!). They contain a unique mix of fruit and 7g of protein - Soya protein - which is ESSENTIAL for the function of every cell in our bodies. It helps muscle and tissue repair, bone health, nail and skin health and most importantly immune system boost!
My personal favourite flavour was Strawberry and Raspberry but all three are really yummy! They're available at Tesco (selected stores) and Muscle Food!
