Style is always changing and fashion is never ending. Now more than ever I understand the importance of accessorising in the right way to make an outfit really stand out or a simple sweater look more elegant and sophisticated. I'm all about the minimal though.
I decided to start a mini series that is called "Bling of the week" featuring some of my favourite pieces to wear - from rings, to bracelets to necklaces and so on. It won't be an actual weekly thing because I don't have an endless amount of accessories but whenever something is of my liking I will most definitely feature it here for you all to know.
I was sent these gorgeous gems by Lavish Lockets recently (read: not paid to praise them) and I fell in love with their design so much. The packaging arrived safe and sound in these little sleek black boxes, perfect if you want to use them as gifts. They also had some spongy material as extra protection.
Mine was a surprise package so I didn't know what I was going to get. I must admit I was chuffed with what I received because both things are simply stunning and look much more expensive than what in fact is their actual price.
The necklace: "Don't follow your dreams, chase them"* made me smile because the message behind it is so powerful. I think it's so important to believe in yourself and never stop dreaming. It's never too late to make something of yourself so no matter what, it's important to be inspired and driven to achieve what you wish for. It's definitely something I would have picked myself.
The loop and chain together are £12.99 or you can buy the loop separately for £5.99.
Silver and Rose Gold mesh bracelets* (£9.99 each or two for £17.99) are the "seen on a fashionable cool tumblr" kind of thing. They're classy, they feel and look expensive and most of all I love the fact that you can wear them naked like this or put charms of your choice. I personally prefer them this way. I can pair them up easily with other bracelets I have or with my watch.
Overall I'm really impressed with the brand and I have been getting tons of compliments because they do subtly make a statement. You can also choose to purchase them on the app store if you wish which makes it that much easier for people who are constantly on the phone (ahem, like me).
If you need some tips on accessorising like a pro, I got you covered with this post.
Have you heard of this company before? Where do you usually shop for your bling?
