My shade is 025 Beige Lin (perfect match!)
The quest for the perfect foundation is a long journey I have been on since the age of 17. I'm now 21 and my list of fails is longer than the list of conquests. There is some kind of curse on me and after having to officially give up on the drugstore front for many reasons (irritations, wrong skin match, awful results etc) the high-end front doesn't seem too bad so far. I have reviewed a few months ago this lovely Laura Mercier foundation which I enjoyed but I was more than ready to jump in and try this bomb by Lancome.
When I research foundations I usually go on sites like FeelUnique and read the reviews. This one was amongst the most liked ones so it went straight on top of my list.
Cost : £30 (currently on sale for £24 on FeelUnique!)
Use : Mainly day time - it contains SPF 15 so you would't want flash photography on you whilst wearing it.
Formula : Oil free and light, perfect for people with sensitive / combination or oily skin. I would say it's medium coverage but you can't even feel it because the finish is natural. After a whole day I still can't see any greasiness in my T-zone nor any dry patches highlighted.
Application : I tried different applications and the classic buffing brush ended up giving the most flawless result. I do believe you need a good mattifying moisturiser. I like using the one I have from Nip+Fab which goes straight deep in my skin and makes the whole process quicker. You only need one pump and you're pretty much well covered already.
Final Thoughts : I am really impressed. This foundation is definitely in the top 3 I have ever tried so far. I think it's worth every penny since it can last a really long time and you need a tiny amount. Also, IT HAS A PUMP PEOPLE. You know how important that is if you're a liquid-foundation kinda gal.
FINAL SCORE : 9.9/1O
