HOT OR NOT> NEW: LIP CRAYONS by BURT'S BEES

It's summer! Well, it is for me. I finally handed in all my assignments and finished my second year of university which surprisingly enough was more fun than the first one. On the list of news I should probably share with you all in case you don't follow me on social media: I got a job at TopShop! It's hard work and I get home exhausted, but the team I work with seems nice and hey, staff discount + pay day is what I live for right now. I'll do my best to keep it when I'm back in uni if I can, since I need to somehow feed this shopping addiction (or ahem, save up since next year will be time to move out..). The boyfriend also moved in with me since it's easier to get him to his new job. Basically the past couple of weeks have been a massive change over here, which is cool.

Back to the point of the post, you know by now that I have been a fan of Burt's Bees for a long time. Even some of my oldest posts have this brand mentioned around. I'm also a big fan of lip crayons even though I don't own many since I'm really picky - and let's face it, my draws are overflowing with makeup that now I have to be careful when purchasing things anyway. I did get super excited when the opportunity to review this new release came up and I had the chance to try them a couple of weeks ago. Can I just say, I haven't used ANY other lip product since then?

I'm IN LOVE. The consistency is quite satin-y to almost creamy after they get applied. I thought to myself "meh these won't last long" but girl, they do. I ate a bloody naked burrito after and you could still tell I was wearing it. I just needed the smallest re-touch ever and boom - back at looking great. I even wore the more pink shade, which is usually something I tend to stay far away from since I'm not a fan of barbie lips. I'm not sure why but it looked great on my skin anyway, it was bright but not too in your face. These would last me a whole 9 hour shift at work with minimum fuss and I couldn't be more surprised and pleased. Burt's Bees lip crayons* cost £8.99 each, which is pretty standard for these types of products anyway. I will get the rest of the colours for sure. I highly suggest you check these out next time you're looking at some new makeup. The verdict? HOT

 Sedona Sands

Carolina Coast

Are you a fan of lip crayons? Which of these two shades is your favourite?
Have a fabulous weekend!
