It's never hot enough in UK, especially to someone like me that suffers from cold feet and arms all year, however it's getting to that short and sweet summer period when I can actually wear dresses outside and not shake. Last week I enjoyed a lovely date night with le boyfriend by the beach so I had to wear this gorgeous number by MINKPINK to combine the undying aztec print for summer on a white canvas maxi dress. The way its cut really elongates the legs but hides what some may dislike like their thigh area. It's also quite flattering because it enhances the curves in all the right places. I also love the free shoulders which can give the best hourglass shape to women that may have a pear shape or smaller shoulders like me.
I styled it up with a pair of close toe sandals I featured on a post last year which I still very much love because they're so comfy and of course I added my trusty Rebecca Minkoff bag I bought in the States. If I could own all her designs, I would. Seriously. As for sunglasses, I went for a cool number I have been treasuring in my stash for the past few months by GlassesShop.com that sell not only normal sunnies but also prescription eyeglasses (my mum got some from there actually). My pair is called the Marguerite Square* and I chose them because they're black and white which means they go with 90% of my wardrobe as it is. They're really classy and vintage, giving you almost an Audrey Hepburn look. Definitely a pair I know I will love forever.
By the time we were done taking photos, my new puppy showed up so we took a couple of pics together that I thought I could share with you all on here since I have never introduced him and this was actually his second day out - ever! His name is Sid and he's an 11 weeks old pug. We got him when he was 7 weeks old and he's been growing so fast! It's strange being a pet parent. I definitely will talk about him more as he grows. If you love pugs and have a snapchat, then add me > whatkrisdid < you'll see daily updates.
