A CHEEKY BEAUTY HAUL | DIRECT COSMETICS
So for the past 5 days I have been stuck in bed with a terrible cold/virus which meant loads of Netflix and lots of tissues. I have finally started watching American Horror Story and I'm already done with season 3 which can only mean one thing: I'm obsessed. I totally get why everyone loves it and the show is officially on my top three which is awesome.
Anyway, as I had some time to also browse for some new beauty products to buy since I was feeing sorry for myself, I decided to update my perfume collection with not one but TWO new scents. I know, I know...I was delirious though. I had 39 fever so let's blame it on that, shall we?
I found a new website that I bookmarked together with the rest of my favourite shopping spots, which sells discounted beauty products. This magical place is called Direct Cosmetics and I'm clearly very late to the party since so many of my fellow bloggers know about it already.
I wanted to share with you some bits and bobs that I picked up since they arrived at my front door today and what better way to start a new week than have new things to try?
First, I got a little "lost" - and by that I mean distracted by everything they were selling because I was itching to get new things - and like that I ended up purchasing a new set of nail polishes: Sally Hansen Magnetic in Red-y Response, Revon Chroma Chameleon in Pink Quartz, L'Oreal Color Riche in L'Or Noir, Nicole by OPI in Deeply in Love, NYC In a New York Color Minute in Canal Street and Maybelline Forever Strong in Metal Me Teal! Can you tell this girl is getting ready for autumn and winter already? These all came with a free makeup bag which is awesome and the total price for them all was ONLY £6. Yes, you read that right, sister.
As for my main focus of the day, I decided to go for two perfumes I tried in the past and LOVED - the Kate by Kate Moss Eau De Toilette which is a soft spicy scent, very subtle and sophisticated and the Live in Love by Oscar De La Renta, which is really fresh, bright and floral. If you haven't tried these gems before and you want something not heavy then write them down and check them out! I tend to wear these on short days or nights out when you want a hint of presence but nothing too overpowering. I'd like to point out that just for the De La Renta perfume I saved up almost £60 buying it on this site which had me almost in happy tears.
As for the last cheeky purchase before checking out - I went for an oldie but a goodie I can't seem to find anywhere anymore: the Revlon Just Bitten lip stain! I LOVED this product a few years ago when it was well popular and I couldn't be more happy to have it back in my life again.
So there it is, my little haul.
It's not too bad, right?
Let me know if you bought anything new recently, I'd love to feel less guilty of my shopping addiction.
