Masks, masks, masks. We all use them. Beauty masks especially, they're like a cheaper way of going to the beautician without having to leave your house. There's nothing I enjoy more than slapping on some mud on my face and watching Netflix - currently going through Orange Is The New Black AGAIN because I love it that much.
Depending on how long you've been lurking around here you may remember a post I did a few month back featuring some really nice and cheap masks. The brand in question was Montagne Jeunesse who then decided to change their name to 7th Heaven as decided by the fans. I thought it was pretty cool that they did such a massive thing for their supporters throughout the years.
They were so kind to send me a few of their new masks to try and review for you guys. You all know I have been using these products for YEARS so hey, couldn't stop feeding my addiction; even though the name changed, the quality stayed amazing so I was pleased to feature them again on my blog. The three I tested out this time were the Banana and Honey Mask, the Argan Oil Mud and the Tea Tree Peel. Keep in mind that I have combination to oily skin and I'm prone to acne (happy days).
- Banana and Honey Mask: I would say is the perfect weapon against blemishes and dull skin. I use this at night when I feel a spot coming which really helps destroy the chances of it growing monstrously big on my face.
- Argan Oil Mud: Especially perfect for oily and combination skin gals, this mud contains Acai Berry, Rosehip and Argan Oil to cleanse pores. I felt it really balancing my levels of greasiness without drying the skin. The perfect mask for the morning after the night before when you're feeling a little down and need a pick up product for the skin. Note - this will help your skin, not your hangover.
- Tea Tree Peel Off: I know many are not fans of peeling masks but I always enjoyed them for some reason. This specific one is of great help when I need a little something to calm down the redness, the never ending army of spots that may appear at that time of the month or the absurd greasiness that may need a little extra work on if the Argan Oil Mud isn't enough.
As always I have been extremely pleased with this range so far and I look forward to seeing 7Th Heaven make more good stuff.
