MAKEUP REMOVERS FOR THE MOST SENSITIVE EYES & SKIN
Every once in a while I try new makeup removers to see what else on the market melts away waterproof mascara without irritating my sensitive eyes or making my skin red. Let's see what I thought of this Vichy duo...
I have had a great relationship with Vichy as a brand in the past but due to my hobby I am never really loyal to one product since I like trying new things all the time. Some time ago though, I did feature a little battle of the micellar cleansing waters where I did admit to one constant re-purchase: my Garnier makeup remover. I have had a tough time finding something just as good or even better HOWEVER after a couple of weeks of testing I can now FINALLY report back with a full review of these Vichy products to introduce you to something that you may actually really like and purchase this coming payday.
The Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil* has quickly become my go-to weapon for removing tough full coverage foundations such as the Estee Lauder Double Wear (review of it coming soon). My skin has been feeling quite tight recently especially after I have been ill for a good week, making it even more obvious that it was dehydrated and dull. This oil helps me re-balance, re-hydrate and brighten my complexion. It's also good for spot-prone skin (which I have, unfortunately) because it helps battle the excess sebum. You can use it to remove eye makeup but I tend to stick with face-action in this case, leaving the eyes for the next product.
The Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover* is the bomb. It's one of these products that you need to shake well because the liquid separates inside - I actually find these things to be quite nice to look at. (is that odd?)
It's perfect for people with super sensitive eyes who like to wear heavy makeup, liner or waterproof mascara which can be a pain to remove at the end of the day. It doesn't sting and you only need a couple of swipes to remove the majority of the product. It's pretty much a winner in my books.
I would DEFINITELY recommend this for all the super sensitive girls out there who dread makeup-removing time. No more watery eyes!
