Christmas is almost here and I know that some of you are not exactly already done shopping. I love buying gifts for friends and family, so as soon as payday arrived a few days ago, I hit the highstreet and purchased everything for the most important people in my life. All in pretty much one day. Impressive huh?
For anyone who can't be bothered to spend hours in shops browsing and looking through things, I thought I would bring everything together in one place. Be it your girlfriend, your sister, mum, grandma or best mate, you have a nice mix in here. Down below I will link even MORE options that were not included in the image above and for some products I will link you to a few cheaper alternatives if you're on a tighter budget. So, shall we get started?
I barely stopped myself from just uploading a beauty gift guide because there's endless amounts around and not EVERYONE loves to receive makeup. Shocking, I know. However, I couldn't avoid the subject since there are some amazing products to be loved at the moment. From gold and copper packaging to luxurious feel and amazing quality, of course I had to jump on the bandwagon and mention the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette which, to me, is the IT present for beauty lovers. Slightly more on the edgy side but still a glamorous complexion/base palette, the newest (and limited edition) Nars x Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Cheek Studio Palette has everything you need and more for daily use.
Of course I couldn't make a list of beauty products and fail to mention something for the eyeshadow lovers out there. Can you ever go wrong gifting something like this? Doubt it. The one I chose this year is by Laura Mercier and it's full of gorgeous smoky and neutral purple shades. Her Artist Palette is a must-have in any collector's makeup drawer.
On the slightly more affordable front, Charlotte Tilbury has been offering some extremely cute Minis of her ever so popular lipsticks. These would be great as stocking fillers. I know they're sold out almost everywhere but I still managed to find some in John Lewis online here, good luck! Another great deal from a usually expensive brand is the Opal Glow on the Go by Becca, which is only £20 and can be found here. It's perfect not only for the holidays but any time of the year since highlighting is such a massive trend.
When it comes to scents, I went a little overboard and had to mention three which I thought were worth the splurge. First of all, this gorgeous Viktor & Rolf gift set which is wonderfully presented and wrapped. For people who like to apply their fragrance on the go like me, I love little roller ball sets. A great one I found is from Estee Lauder featuring their Muse perfume. If you're really up for a major splurge though, Diptyque Do Son is the most seductive and long lasting fragrance I tried. It's perfect for more mature women as well.
If you wanted something more useful along the lines of a beauty purchase, you can never go wrong with a makeup bag. I always need more. The one I personally would love is by Victoria 's Secret but you can find an amazing variety at all sorts of budgets on ASOS.
I love necklaces, bracelets and rings because they can really bring an outfit together or make it stand out with simple details. A few months back I mentioned my love for personalised gifts so I'll link you to my post (here) on a few great customisable and engravable pieces, not only jewellery. They will certainly stand out from the mass as well as being affordable a lot of the time. When it comes to necklaces specifically though, I love this gold piece by Kate Spade. There's some even less expensive ones around at the moment. I bought a sterling silver initial necklace from Topshop recently, as part of their Freedom range. Definitely worth checking your local store.
As for rings, Monica Vinader has been killing it. The one I picked above is probably one of the most popular designs at the moment. It's very minimal yet it's not too plain and easy to forget.
When I attended Bloggers Fashion Week a couple of months back I actually ended up winning a Fleur of England set that is absolutely stunning. Underwear is a great gift for your partner in my opinion and the quality and luxury of F.O.E is just above everything else I own.
Another gift that some may find unusual is pyjamas but a rule in my family has always been "if you don't know what to get for someone, just buy them a new nice pj set". Victoria's Secret is my favourite, especially their silky and classic pink stripes set that the models wear. I can't really own such a nice item because I have a puppy and he likes to chew on anything I wear at home but it'd be a great pick for most women.
I love handbags, and Christmas is the time of the year to go big or go home if you've been saving for an investment piece. I picked Mansur Gavriel as a brand because it's a little more budget friendly than, say, Chloe but the quality of their bags is AMAZING. As for smaller pieces, I thought a card holder would be fabulous and useful, especially if you know the person in question is an avid points-card-collector like me. McQueen is one of my favourite designers so I picked him specifically but there's countless around! I think getting smaller things is a great way of owning brands without having to spend thousands.
Last but not least: watches! I love Daniel Wellington, which is obviously the most popular choice, but recently I discovered Kristian Hansel. Even though the design is similar and minimalistic, I found their strap and overall feel to be more sturdy. I bought one of their time tellers back in September for my birthday and after posting numerous times about it on social media they kindly offered me a discount code for my next purchase. I always get so many compliments when I wear it! The quality is amazing. I thought I would share it with you since you can get your hands on an amazing classic piece at a great price Saving up some money is always good. Just use "KRISEVILCUPCAKE" at checkout. I'll be getting my hands on the all-black watch they have soon, it's gorgeous.
I hope this was somehow helpful and let me know what you'd like to receive this Christmas. I'm really nosey! I bought myself a cheeky present, an Alexander Wang Rocky bag with rose gold studs. It took me months of saving and it should be arriving next week so I'm extremely excited to share it with you on social media!
