COSMOPOLITAN - THE FRAGRANCE

You can call me a "cosmo gal" for sure. I'm subscribed to the publication, my final major project is writing 10 articles for my favourite magazine and I even got shortlisted in their blog awards twice. I mean, come on, it's just destiny.

A few weeks back they kindly sent me their first fragrance to try and I liked it straight away so I had to feature it on here. The sleek glass bottle is multi faceted and looks really expensive. The cut is supposed to represent the many sides of female personality. What I liked even more is who they chose to model for it: three gorgeous, hardworking, everyday/next-door women who are fun and fearless. It could have been me and you which is really inspiring.

Sometimes I admit that buying a perfume, especially a celebrity scent, is due to me secretly wanting to be a little more like them, feel closer to them. When I spray FAME by Lady Gaga I like to imagine I'm this badass girl boss with sharp claws ready to take on the world. However, I actually think that being yourself is so much better and this campaign is brilliant for that reason.

The scent itself is very fruity to me. It contains pineapple with mandarin and red berries.  There are also notes of jasmine and a touch of spice. To top it off: sandalwood, vanilla and musk. It's fresh, girly and fun. It reminds me of holidays and parties yet I stick to wearing this during the day as it's light and it lasts well. Next time you're in Boots, give it a little sniff!

  20. I am super picky about perfumes. I have such a sensitive nose that strong fragrances give me a headache! :( So I usually wear body sprays instead. However if there is a perfume I like its usually on the more sweet fruity or vanilla side.. This one actually sounds like one I might like. I will have to test it out!
