SKIN-SAVING SERUMS

I am one lazy potato when it comes to skincare, especially in the evening, and I always like to keep it extra simple. For a while I even avoided serums and just used a moisturiser after cleansing. This year I made it my goal to add something extra to my beauty regime and I introduced to my routine some drops of goodness that literally changed the game.

Now yes, I know, FOUR serums in one year is a LOT but they all serve a different purpose so I thought I would share them with you. I guess being a beauty blogger can sort of justify the fact that I built a small collection. I will say though, I am extremely picky hence I only had four - not even five - to write about in this post. Odd number, right?

The SUKIN Facial Recovery Serum is my day to day bomb of happiness for my face. The brand is certainly not new to my blog and everything I have tried from them so far has been amazing. What intrigued me about this serum is the ingredients; from kale, spirulina, parsley and acai fruit extract, the way your skin feels right after a light application is divine. It leaves a healthy glow behind and it absorbs quickly so that I can go straight in with my daily moisturiser.

Maple Holistics Vitamin C Serum * is of a slightly thicker consistency and I use it now more than ever because of the really dry and windy weather. I feel like the current climate is stripping off my oils and a few nights a week I love to literally shower my face with this little bottle and let it do its magic.
I can definitely notice a difference the morning after using this serum - my dry patches are pretty much gone and the skin doesn't look dull.

Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue is my secret weapon against redness, which in my case tends to develop - an stay-  around the nose and cheek area. Now, I'm not saying this gets rid of it completely but it calms it down a lot, especially after washing my face. I literally go from level 10 to level 4 red-face in 10 minutes. Somehow I got more confident in my own skin after I started using this serum in the day, especially if I'm wearing a light foundation or a BB cream because it makes it so much easier to go natural. It is on the more expensive side but it is worth the money!

The Yours Truly Organics Fix Me serum is my latest discovery and this has been my go-to product in the evening, every night, unless I'm using the Maple Holistics one I mentioned above. The consistency is slightly lighter and less greasy hence I use it more. I love this product so much because it has helped me regulate the production of sebum and whenever I get a pimple somehow it HELPS reducing it much quicker. The redness disappears and the bump itself is significantly reduced the next morning which makes applying concealer much easier. I wish I found out about this sooner, especially since my skin has suddenly stopped showing hyper pigmentation, meaning my overall complexion looks more healthy and evened out.

Have you got a favourite serum? If so, share away and I'll be sure to test it out soon.

  18. A good wrinkle cream should contain sufficient amounts of vitamin E and vitamin A. As we age, the levels of vitamin E go down drastically, leading to wrinkles. Using an anti-wrinkle cream which has the correct amount of these vitamins will help to reduce wrinkles on your skin. Companies have started using natural ingredients in their creams and they use herbs in their products to make them more effective at combating wrinkles. skin care treatments
