If you follow me on twitter you may remember all the fangirling I did about going to see King Fu Panda 3 in my local cinema on the day of the release. I love these movies, all my friends know it and occasionally I get little presents themed with pandas because of that. Who doesn't love pandas anyway?! The films are SO funny and both my boyfriend and I are obsessed with this animation.
Of course I get excited when any new beauty product is launched but when I found out that Morgan Taylor created a nail polish line dedicated to Kung Fu Panda I was like "MUST-GET-THIS-NOW" - not that I needed any more shades in my stash..
The collection is made of six bold, vibrant and flattering colours that compliment my favourite new character in the movie, Mei Mei, which is a ribbon-dancing panda that SLAYS. This is the first time I even used this word but damn, she does.
The consistency of the nail varnishes is similar from shade to shade except for one, Warriors Don't Wine, which is the darkest red/wine colour of the bunch that needed 2 coats instead of one for full coverage. This straight away can suggest you that yes, these gems are so opaque, I got away with one swipe only - and the longevity is bomb. It's worth to note that the names have movie-references which is a nice touch.
There's a great mix of colours for all seasons. Now that spring is here I highly suggest you get your hands on PO-RIWINKLE which is that gorgeous light lilac pastel that looks stunning and applies like a dream. Another shade that stood out to me is that classy and timeless red called Tigress knows Best, which is glossy and doesn't chip easily.
I love Morgan Taylor as a brand and they never let me down with their formulas so despite having sky-high expectations they didn't fail me yet again. You can purchase the shades as a mini 4 pack, or pack of two as well.
Any other Kung Fu Panda fans out there? Do you like the colours in this collection?
