I'm a huge fan of The Body Shop. It's a brand that is not only affordable and cruelty free but it also never ceases to amaze me. Throughout the years I still get excited whenever they release new products or introduce new collections and I never miss the opportunity to try their new stuff. If you've been reading my blog for a while then you probably know how often I feature them on here - I'm a bit of a huge fan.
The British Rose collection is the latest boom to add to your stash and as you may have guessed, it smells of roses. Now, I wanted to take a moment to actually say this - the scent is not granny-ish or too sickly. Obviously smell it if you can before purchasing it, but personally I didn't find it overwhelming - and this is coming from someone who generally doesn't like overly sweet fragrances.
The body butter was straight away a favourite because, as all their body butters, it's easy to apply and absorb, it smells divine and it really helps your skin out. Mine has been particularly dry lately so I appreciate a little bit of extra moisture in there. I think this brand nails it in terms of body care and I have never been disappointed with any of their products so far.
The eau de toilette is very fresh. I usually spray it on after a shower or whenever I just want to rock something light and subtle but still noticeable. You get so much product for your money and it's easily as long lasting as a higher end perfume.
I was particularly pleased with the nail polish. I find I need a couple of coats but overall it was a good a fairly long lasting product on my nails. Their range can be a little inconsistent in terms of quality but this shade looked really pretty, natural and with a top coat it did the job.
Last but certainly not least is the gorgeous bath foam. I absolutely adore the scent and the bubbles appear with not much product poured in, which means it will last longer (so more bang for your buck). My skin feels so good afterwards and super soft. It also helps me with stress which is always a bonus.
So that's that. I really want to try the eye and cheek palette but so far I adore this collection. Have you tried anything from it yet? Let me know in the comments :)
