I'm a black-skinny-jeans kinda gal at heart, and that's what I tend to wear about 90% of the time. I do like to go out of my comfort zone sometimes and dress a little bit more classy. Black of course is always my colour of choice, and lately on the occasional night out, I loved showing up in these trousers by Lily & Carter. They're very light and the material is thicker than standard leggings and it's of nice quality, making it a good piece to also wear in the office. The trousers are quite tailored on the waist and they fall nicely on the legs, elongating them. I made sure to wear high-heels though as I wanted some flow when I walked.
The tops is a simple satin cami that features an open back. It's very sleek, elegant and it goes sheer on the back. I find that the deep V at the front makes you look slimmer and more feminine. It's a lose fit but it's not oversized. This is a must-have item in anyone's closet as it can be easily styled with anything! I can already picture myself wearing it with leather trousers and a leather jacket.
Of course my love affair with the Rebecca Minkoff mini mac hasn't ended yet and it's still my go-to bag for nights out. I love the gold detail and the fact that it stores more than you would imagine. I can easily travel to London with this bag only, if I'm not carrying my big camera.
The watch I stole from my mum (sorry Ma) and the stilettos are a sleek pair by Asos. I love this outfit because it's easy to wear, it's comfortable (I can actually eat a lot and no food baby will be showing) and it just makes me feel 'serious' but chic. I hope you guys like it too. Let me know how you'd wear the wide leg trend.
