Three Face Masks I'm Loving

Who doesn't love a face-mask? It's a little TLC for your body and soul that works perfectly when combined with tea and Netflix. At least that's what I imagine in my head most of the time, until it's been 40 minutes since I put my mask on and now I can't move my face. Is that what having lots of botox feels like? Hmm.

Anyway, the past few weeks I've been alternating between three bomb products that I thought were great to suggest to you all. The Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Mask has been my top pick for days when my skin felt really clogged and greasy after a long day. You know that feeling when you just want to remove makeup as soon as you get back to your house - or even on the ride home? It helps absorb the excess oil and refine pores without leaving the skin too dry. I love it.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Sanctuary Spa have created the perfect overnight mask called Reverse Beauty Sleep which helps you restore the skin whilst you sleep. I notice that any fine lines that may start appearing quickly disappear when I use this and my skin just feels softer the morning after. it's also great if you have a hangover and need a beauty fix for skin that feels de-hydrated and dull.

A middle ground between the two is the Forever Marine Mask* which provides deep cleansing whilst balancing the skin's texture. It contains conditioning properties of aloe vera, honey and cucumber extract but I definitely find it more detoxifying than moisturising. I believe that this gem is perfect if you have combination skin. When you use it, the product goes clear on the face but leaves a tight feel right when it's ready to be removed. Once you wash it off, it leaves the skin looking fresh, even and really clean. I noticed it helped me get rid of my overly bumpy texture which gives it major points.

So which one would you like to test? Let me know your personal favourite face masks! I'm always looking for new products to try.

  1. I would love to try the Sanctuary Spa Reverse Beauty Mask. I am currently using the Body Shop Drops of Youth sleeping mask and my skin looks amazing the next morning! I hope I can get my friends that live in London to get me one from Boots :)

  3. Definitely going to need to pick up the Sanctuary Spa reverse mask - sounds perfect!
I also love the Sanctuary Spa Charcoal mask. Normally I am not a fan of masks which heat up yet this one really does feel like it cleanses your pores and combined with their facial oil completely revitalises my skin. I have a review of that combo on my blog if you are interested! Also am a huge fan of the Elemis Herbal Lavender Mask for when I am struggling with a few spots! Xo

  8. I wish the Dermalogica face mask worked for me. I had such a bad reaction, it turned my face red and if I left it on for the desired time would of burnt me. Such a shame as I've never experienced bad reactions from Dermalogica products before xo

  10. Hmmm, I haven't tried any of these but I'm about 98% positive a cheaper version of the Dermalogica mask is the mud mask from Pixi.
