COHORTED Beauty Box Review (+ Cheeky Giveaway)

I honestly lost count of all the subscription boxes you have out there, especially in the beauty community. In the past I have expressed my interest in signing up to one, but the choice is so overwhelming that I was a little bit suffocated by it since my list seemed to be endless. In the last few months quite a lot of the boxes I was 'tracking' (aka reading reviews of) turned out to be quite disappointing as well, which made me reconsider.

One of the few good ones that I kept my eye on was from Cohorted. I bought from their site before and their customer service is bomb, so when I was approached to review one of their boxes I thought I'd grab the chance and see how I get on to honestly tell you guys if it's worth the money. It costs £35 monthly and you get four full-sized high-end products in there. In the June's edition which is the one I will be showing you, the total box value is £82!

The first thing I noticed in the box was the James Read Instant Bronzing Spray (200ml) which retails for £25. The other option you could have received from the same brand was the Wash Off Tan. I actually like the fact that you don't know what you'll get exactly even if you read someone else's review.

I haven't tried this product before - or the brand - so this got a big thumbs up from me.

" A palette!" I screamed opening this little gem. I mean, you lot know by know how much I love palettes. This one here is for both your eyes and brows so double points from me as it will be perfect for travel. Of course I can't give you a review just yet as I've only started using it but again, priced at £25 it's a great product to test out. (Eye and Brow Palette)

Lord & Berry is a brand I'm familiar with and I love their lip products. I must admit I'm not one who uses eyeliner much anymore, especially day to day, but this blue iridescent number might be an amazing pick for a night out. (£12)

Now something that got me super excited was this Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (£20) as I never tried one before despite the hype. The colour Sierra is just perfection on my olive skin tone and  I can't wait to rock this shade, especially this coming winter.

So overall I was pretty impressed with this box and well pleased with everything I got, especially considering what the price would be if I purchased these products separately. The fact that the brands are A-quality and the samples are full-sized just blows my mind. I mean, Cohorted really smashed it and I'm honestly thinking of subscribing to the box (and maybe doing a subscription as a gift to my mum since she would love this). This is ideal for people who want to get a feel of high-end beauty products without breaking the bank. Some of their previous boxes featured Chanel, Marc Jacobs, MAC, Too Faced and more.

I'd love to know what you think on the goodies I received here and if you'd subscribe!

  3. The Nars lip crayon looks beautiful! I'm such a fan of lip crayons but have never tried one from Nars. I have really dry sensitive lips so picking lip products is always pretty tough. I'd love to know what you thought of the formula? Xo
