September has been a mad month - and you may have noticed that my posting has flaked a little because I have been here, there and everywhere between internships, work, trips and fashion week. I sat on many trains and coaches so one thing that I definitely prioritised was comfort. When you travel, even if it's just a few hours, you really want to do it in clothes that are not too tight, short, see-through or scratchy because that's one thing you CAN control - unlike who sits next to you and what they eat. Yes, I'm thinking of you old drunk man with your smelly curry baguette filled with onions.
This is not the most fashion forward outfit out there, I know, but it's genuinely something I liked to wear on long journeys or even down to the shops when I don't want to look like I just got out of bed (I have walked to Tesco in my pjs before just to get milk..).
The striped top is super soft and on the baggy side, so you can easily get in any odd seating position you may want and your back won't show. Also, who doesn't love stripes?!
My favourite jeans are of course from Topshop, and they're so comfortable when you wear them a few times, they almost mould into your shape. Of course, if you prefer to wear leggings, go for that! Sunglasses are essential to cover up any lack of sleep and the leather jacket comes in handy when they put the air-con on or it gets cold.
I'd love to know what's your airport/travel style essentials!
