UNBOXING: Cohorted Beauty Box February Edition

How is February almost over? I honestly can't get over how quickly this month has gone and I can't believe how fast March is approaching - and with that the arrival of spring! Despite being a lover of the grey sky and black clothes, I do feel a little bit of a pastel vibe coming over me and I've been considering adding pink to my closet! Yeah, you read that right. I guess we'll see if that actually happens, won't we!

Now, let's dig into this month's fabulous Cohorted box!

An eyeshadow quad - and it's cute and compact and I can totally have it on me all the time! I can't deny I got all excited and giggly because I bloody love eyeshadows, especially earthy tones like these ones. The brand is called Doucce and in all honesty, I have never heard of it before. I swear I discover at least one new brand in every Cohorted box I receive, it is madness!

This little gem is called the Freematic Eye Shadow Quad, it retails for $35 and mine is in the shade range called Apple Pie
The pigmentation I found to be really good and with the presence of both matte and satin shades I managed to create a lovely eye look! You might see a selfie pop up on Instagram soon!

I haven't tried anything from Urban Decay in a while and finding the Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer was a nice surprised. This is a really good brand and so far everything I tried from them I really enjoyed. I have used this a few times now and I'm actually very happy with it. It smooths my skin and helps the makeup look much nicer when I wear it. It's not greasy at all which is a massive plus for me so I'll definitely keep using it!

The Studio 10 Visible Lift Face Definer has been another introduction to a new brand for me. This is everything you need to accentuate your bone structure and bring out those cheek bones if like me you have a bit of a moon-face. Apparently, this kit is enriched with an anti-ageing super lift to firm and tighten skin. What stands out to me the most is that none of the products here have any shimmer or glitter so they really looked natural and sat well on my face - not to mention they were easy to blend.

Back to Doucce, their Click Click lipsticks (yep, they're actually called that, and I love it) come in 16 shades. Mine is Rusty Raspberry and it's not really what I would go for colour-wise but I do enjoy the high pigmentation and creamy finish. It's also enriched with soothing and moisturising elements, which is a great bonus and I'm quite tempted to get myself some other colour, more in the nude spectrum. I will attempt to wear this more often in the spring and summer though!

Pink is THE colour of the year and there's no point in denying it so of course, I was happy to receive this Kure Bazaar nail polish in the shade Fabulous. I have tried this brand before and I enjoyed it because it's quite different from the rest. Up to 85% of their ingredients are naturally derived, consisting of wheat, cotton, potatoes, corn and wood pulp. Yes, you read that right. They're also 4-free which means they don't contain toluene, formaldehyde and other ingredients linked to toxicity. You definitely need a top coat as they tend to chip a day or so sooner than my other nail polishes but nothing major. My verdict - I LIKE. A LOT.

I have been using and liking pretty much everything in this box and I'm happy to be introduced to more colour as we all know I stick to nudes and neutrals a lot. Let me know if anything stood out to you and if you tried any of the products mentioned :)
