Guys, I know I can't just roll back after a little break without mentioning it because you all can see I haven't posted in a couple of weeks but I am back and I will let you know soon what's been going around here. It's mostly been lack of internet so don't blame me! I have spent most days in Starbucks, trying to get work done and getting distracted. Oops.
Meanwhile, to keep things light, I wanted to talk about shoes because, who doesn't like shoes?!
My love affair with backless loafers has begun, and the pair that is to blame is this embroidered number by Deichamann. I have been eagerly waiting to wear these out and about but spring around here has been very temperamental, so it's sunny as you're walking out the door, but five minutes after it's pouring it down with rain. The beauty of living in the UK heh! The past couple of days though I have been really lucky and I have taken these out for a little road test.
I'm trying to add a more colour to my closet - I have three powder pink items in my wardrobe now, can you believe that? I hardly can to be honest - and I can't wait to share them with you soon.
Back to the loafers - they're true to size, they're very comfortable and they actually go with a lot of items as the dark denim wash makes them quite versatile. I chose to wear mine with rolled up jeans as I don't like long denim that covers my ankles, especially when the weather is starting to be a little more decent.
These shoes are part of the Ellie Goulding collection which features a wide variety of styles and models to choose from, but as Gucci has made this particular model a massive trend, I decided to give it a try myself. The verdict? Love it!
