Review: Revlon Pro Collection Salon One Step Hair Dryer & Styler

Drying hair is the most tedious process ever. Do I like styling it? Absolutely not. Unless I'm seeing friends for drinks, most days I tend to leave it natural, pretending I'm totally some boho chick from Tumblr when I most likely resemble the girl from The Ring. Great look, am I right?

I was kindly sent this little gem from Revlon and not gonna lie, I was sceptical about it, but it works! I always blow-dried my hair but anything I use makes it go frizzy (unless I spend hours using a round brush at the same time.). Now I can blow dry my hair in under 10 minutes and it looks sleek and shiny!

This dryer is a two-in-one tool because you only need one hand to achieve silky smooth hair. The hot air flow (two settings and a cool finish setting) allows you to brush and dry and the same time. The wide setting of the bristles means that it glides through, but because they’ve also got a detangle element, there aren’t any tugs, which is so important when your hair is wet and more prone to breakage.

It may look a little heavy but don't let the images fool you, it's actually really lightweight and easy to use. If you want super straight hair you'll still need to use an iron afterwards but overall the hair feels a lot more smoother and less frizzy when I choose this dryer.

I’d suggest it for gals who like volume – I think you will literally breeze through your blow dry. I found it to be more volumising and less damaging than anything I tested before. You can buy it here and it retails for £49.99 !

It's a YES from me.
Have you tried it?

  1. Oh now I love the sound of this, my hair is a bit crazy and this sounds like it would give the perfect results not to straight, yet not flyaway.

  4. What a brilliant idea! I do the boho girl from Tumblr thing too - then I look in the mirror and realise that it wasn't the best idea!!

  5. I would love to try this brush! I always have problems with my hair, I can never style it myself. And when I do, I end up burning it.

  6. I've been meaning to try something like this for ages as sometimes blow drying my hair makes it get all tangled x

  9. I've spotted a couple of these kinds of products on the market recently! They look fabulous, but I have curly hair, which I keep curly so they wouldn't work for me! xxx

  12. This looks cool. I had to get rid of my hair drier as I managed to melt part of it with my straighteners. But I think something like this would work better for me x

  15. I have something similar and absolutely love it. Makes my hair straight without looking early 2000's poker straight!

  19. This would help speed up my mummy's drying time as she has long thick wavy hair and hates spending time drying it. It usually takes her 45 minutes!

  23. I'm one of those Ring girls too - I never both drying/styling/straightening my hair. All that just bores me! So this sort of brush would be perfect for me when I actually do want to spend the time looking nice x
