6 Products That Saved My Skin This Winter

Every winter season I like to highlight products that I've been loyal to. In the last few months the weather has been ridiculously cold, and for me, it's been essential to find a handful of gems I knew I could count on no matter what. With delicate skin, this time of the year can be torture but thankfully I sorted my skincare drawer and selected these six products that I wanted to share with you guys.

AnnMarie Coconut Honey Mask: I love everything about it - the scent, the way my skin feels after I use it and most of all the fact that it's all natural. It helps to hydrate, moisturise and nourish any dry patches. A few weeks ago I had a red rash on my face caused by the cold and I used this mask overnight. The next day it was gone. The slight down-side to it is that it takes a little while to remove but honestly, it is worth it!

Indeed Labs Hydration Booster Serum: This is my go-to after I use a heavy duty charcoal mask that sometimes can dry out my skin. It rebalances the moisture levels of dehydrated skin, plumps up dry looking areas, making you look dewy and fresh the next day. It's one of those products that make it seem like you drink 2 liters of water a day and get a solid 8-hour sleep when in reality you don't.

Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream: The product that does it all. Aside from being excellent for rashes, eczema and any minor burns, it's also great if you have acne. I don't know HOW I lived life without this cream before. Been playing with it lately and testing how good it is, and I'm blown away.

What Skin Needs Soothing Skin Gel: This gel is the secret weapon against windburn and it soothes itchy skin such as rashes, providing moisture to dry parts to protect after exposure to the elements. I love how quickly it gets absorbed as well because it means I can use it at any point during the day and never look greasy.

Pixi Vitamin Makeup Mist: This is a present I got from my mum a few months ago and it's one of these products that really impressed me. I wasn't expecting much from it as I rarely find sprays that work, but my goodness, from finishing spray to just being a moisture boost, I really can't recommend it enough. It's lightweight, packed with vitamins, leaves your skin feeling soft and it sprays all over the face so it's not too messy or too intense per spritz. You won't have to waste lots of it per use so more you get more bang for your buck. Boom.

Ren Ultra Moisture Day Cream: One of my favourite daily moisturisers of all time. I discovered this brand last year just before I went to LA and used it religiously. My skin improved dramatically and I've been a loyal fan since. Perfect any time of the year but I've been enjoying it even more now as it sits well with my foundations.

I'd love to know what products you've been enjoying this winter so feel free to tweet me or share in the comments!

  11. I am all for skincare treatments that are nourishing and if they're all cruelty-free all the better! I've not heard of PIXI before and since someone above mentioned they're cruelty-free I may give this brand a go.
